MELEE DYNASTY IS DEAD!

Okay Finally done with this digital painting! This took close to 24 hours total... NO JOKE! Trying out a new coloring style and I might stick with this one. I'm sure i'll get faster with practice. 
Anyways, Some Smash art to show my love for Smash 4. I tried to be as original as I possibly could with this piece. I haven't seen any Yoshi vs Fox pics here on DA yet because you know who would be silly enough to draw THAT before smash 4?  It was pretty fun exaggerating the kick a bit but the background was so HARD to do because of the angle I attempted to draw it at. The ONLY reference I had was a straight on view of the stage so yeah... That took a long while. It was also fun referencing Fox from my husband's Fox amiibo. Drawing from figurines is pretty useful.

I never thought I'd see the day Yoshi could actually go toe to toe with Fox since the last huge smash title I owned was Melee. And we ALL KNOW "Fox only, No items, Final Destination"was Melee in a nut shell. Which got down right annoying. Watching tourneys is boring because they were ALWAYS the SAME EXACT THING.  
  

So happy to see smash 4 is changing that and Yoshi is being considered top tier this time around! Also absolutely LOVING Yoshi's new pseudo Flash Kick like fox's so that way Fox can have a taste of his own meds >.<  Words just could not describe how much joy that has bought to my heart so hopefully this picture does my emotions some type of justice. 

Also huge shout outs to and  for being some of the inspirations behind this piece. Had to back track some of their work I thought I had it in my favs >.> Their Yoshi art and art in general is pretty phenomenal and I definitely wanted to be part of that movement! Highly recommended that you go check these artist out <3

Possibly setting up a PATREON accountAs everyone knows I am trying to get serious with my art. Currently I am trying to save up for a house and get my life on track and stuff. I’m trying to find a way to actually make a steady income off of my art. Yes I’d like to make a living off my art but in reality the long term goal is so much more. Now let’s be realistic for a second…I know A LOT of people want to do this and in order to do this you have to stand out above or equal to others who are really good.
